Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion)

Kinkaku-ji, officially named Rokuon-ji, is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. It is one of the most popular buildings in Japan, attracting a large number of visitors annually. The top two stories of the pavilion are completely covered in pure gold leaf, which beautifully reflects in the pond below, creating a breathtaking spectacle that changes with the seasons.
